DAT To CAPRI Utility
The DAT To CAPRI utility (DATToCapri.exe) is a command-line utility that translates CygNet database files to a platform-neutral format for transportation between operating systems or for sending the database to CygNet for technical support. The Capri format is a compact representation of a CygNet database, and is not optimized for reads or writes. We recommend that you contact CygNet Support before using this utility.
This utility requires that the DBS-based service be stopped. Alternatively it may be run on a restored database backup to avoid service downtime.
Note: DATToCapri cannot be run against an unrestored database backup. Restore the backup using DBS Restore Backup Utility and then run DATToCapri on the restored database.
